SMART INVENTORY

When ERP knows the quantity,
the shelf should too.

Smart Bin reviews MRO and spare-parts storerooms to define a controlled shelf-visibility pilot. It does not replace the Stoney Rola model-review path for difficult industrial parts.

Illustrative shelf-visibility state.

Smart Bin starts with a storeroom review.

Smart Bin asks where ERP inventory stops matching what workers see at the physical bin. The first step is not a hardware order, compatibility promise, or deployment quote.

The review freezes the operating baseline: current inventory system, bin rules, display method, transaction workflow, interface fields, and acceptance criteria.

EVIDENCE

Facts before claims

Confirmed APIs, data fields, existing labels, network environment, and customer inputs are separated from assumptions.

VALIDATE

Controlled pilot

One storeroom, one shelf section, 20 bins, or one SKU family is measured before rollout.

Inventory visibility and second-source qualification stay distinct.

Smart Bin does not require customers to source parts through Stoney Rola. Stoney Rola qualification projects do not require Smart Bin.

If a Smart Bin review exposes a discontinued component, proprietary module, gateway, controller, mounting part, or other difficult model, that issue can be routed separately to Stoney Rola model review.

NEXT STEP

Review one storeroom first.

Submit a current MRO storeroom, spare-parts room, line-side supermarket, or SKU family. Pricing comes after workflow and interface scope are clear.
